I’ve never been much of a writer. The only real writing I’ve ever done consisted of the occasional essay WAY back in school and all of those lab write-ups for Physical Chemistry. So me? A blogger? Never going to happen. That’s something other people do, who have lots to talk about.
Then I got to thinking…what if I started writing about my experiences and things I’ve learned in the baking and caking world, so that I might help others?
Like cake and icing, I think learning and sharing go hand in hand.
I love to learn. I want as much information as I can possibly get my hands on. I need facts. I need techniques. I need to know what could go wrong. I know mistakes are inevitable. That’s part of the learning process! Helping others with the knowledge I’ve gained gives me warm, fuzzy feelings.
So I’m stepping out of my comfort zone of bowls and mixers and jumping into the blogosphere (Yep…that’s totally a word. I looked it up.) with both feet. Because that’s how I do things.
